The collaboration between Sylvaine Delacourte and Ramda Hammami proved to be very fruitful in terms of oriental scents. Together the two women composed L’Instant Magic, Insolence eau glacée, or even Cruel Gardénia and Moscow. Sylvaine Delacourte, let us recall Guerlain’s creative director, also believes that the perfumer is one of the masters of the oriental note that she masters to perfection, whatever facets one wishes to offer her.

Naturally, the house of Guerlain turned to Ramda Hammami to compose a most precious elixir of the greatest notes used by Guerlain. This floral, musky and of course oriental elixir will be presented in 2009 in a fountain of only one liter at the Guerlain boutique on the Champs-Elysées. It will be called My Precious Nectar and will only divulge its powers to 62 clients who will spend 6,000 euros per bottle just for the pleasure of diving into it for the duration of a spray.

As everything might lead you to believe, my Precious Nectar is made up of the finest and rare raw materials in perfumery. As for its traditional bee bottle, it radiates so much the composition of Ramda Hammami is intended to be an olfactory honey that is at once enveloping, sunny and even somewhat greedy.

Mon Précieux Nectar offers the delicate marriage of a citrus note of petit-grain and a bitter almond almost pastry to offer from the top notes a high-flying start. At the heart, the delicate and so burning orange blossoms and jasmine blossoms offer the beauty and luminosity of their radiance in order to offer the most “Guerlainesque” floral notes to this Precious Nectar. Finally, sandalwood and guaiac wood mingle with vanilla to form a chic Guerlinade while incense and white musks form a mysterious but comfortable cloud that definitely leaves us in a halo of golden light …
